He served as an Executive Vice President of Apache Kitimat Upstream from 2013 to 2015 and the Vice President of New Ventures of Apache Canada Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Apache Corporation from 2005 to 2012. He has been a Director at Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd., since June 22, 2017. He held a variety of exploration- and development-based positions with Apache Canada Ltd. and Shell Canada Ltd. He has a Master of Science in Remote Sensing (Geologic Application) degree and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Geology and Geography, both from McMaster University.
