Mr. Alan Brookes, BSc, FRICS, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of United Kingdom at Hyder Consulting PLC. Mr. Brookes has been the Chief Executive Officer Arcadis United Kingdom of Arcadis NV since January 01, 2014. He served as the Head of the UK Division at EC Harris LLP since January 2014. He served as Board Executive of Group Operations and Finance at EC Harris LLP. He served as Group General Manager of EC Harris LLP since March 2007. He was responsible for the performance of the business across the world. His particular responsibilities included the Operations Managers in each region with specific responsibility for financial performance and performance improvement. He is also responsible for the Group Support Services functions which further include Marketing, IT, Group Legal Services, Purchasing, Communication and the Programme Office. He is also the Regional Leader for Asia undertaking regular visits to the region and developing the business there. Since 2004, he served as Regional Managing Partner for the UK including 19 offices outside London and prior to this he served as Regional Managing Partner for the West of the UK. He joined EC Harris in May 2000. He served as the Chairman of Povall Flood & Wilson. He led Povall Flood & Wilson for a period of three years prior to which he served as Managing Partner of Povall Worthington. His career started in 1984. He served as a Director of EC Harris LLP since May 2007. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Mr. Brookes holds a Degree in Buildings Surveying from Liverpool Polytechnic.
