Erik Blokhuis MSc — Chief Executive Officer of Arcadis Continental Europe at Arcadis

Mr. Erik Blokhuis, MSc, has been Chief Executive Officer of Arcadis Continental Europe at ARCADIS NV since January 1, 2015. Mr. Blokhuis joined ARCADIS in 1992 as a Project Manager. After a brief stint at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, he joined Royal Haskoning in 1994 and worked there for 4 years in several international positions, with overall water business responsibility (project and commercial). In 1998, he returned to ARCADIS to become the Project Manager of the Infrastructure activities in the Netherlands. He subsequently became Commercial Director for the international activities of the rail team, forging synergies with ARCADIS companies in other countries in Europe, South America and Asia. In 2007, he was appointed Business Unit Director within the Dutch ARCADIS organization. In 2012, he became Director of the Dutch Buildings Division, which was then taken to European level in the beginning of 2014.
