Renier Vree — CFO & Member of Executive Board at Arcadis

Mr. Renier Vree, M.Sc, RC has been the Chief Financial Officer and Member of Executive Board of Arcadis NV since June 1, 2010. Mr. Vree served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Arcadis NV from October 27, 2016 to April 2017. Mr. Vree joined Royal Philips Electronics NV in 1987. He has extensive experience in all aspects of financial management of a large international corporation. He was also responsible for a sizable number of acquisitions. From 1994 to 2002, he worked as Financial Director/Chief Financial Officer of several business units in the United States and Asia, including Malaysia and Hong Kong. Subsequently, working from the corporate center of Philips, he led global efficiency improvement programs. Mr. Vree served as the Chief Financial Officer of Philips Lighting since 2004 and was responsible for the financial management of this division with sales of EUR 6.5 billion in 2009. In this position, he gained experience in communicating the strategy and performance of the division with investors and analysts. Mr. Vree completed his studies in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 1991, he received the title Chartered Controller from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
