Executive Bio
Mr. Daniel A. Hoffler Founded Armada Hoffler in 1979. Mr. Hoffler served as Vice President of Marketing for Eastern International Inc. Prior to that, he served as a Regional Manager for Dun and Bradstreet. From 1992 to 1996, he served on the University of Virginia Board of Visitors. He serves as the Chairman of Armada Hoffler. He has been Executive Chairman of Armada Hoffler Properties, Inc. since May 13, 2013. Mr. Hoffler served as an Independent Director of The Shaw Group Inc. from October 31, 2006 to February 13, 2013. In 1987, he was chosen as the Outstanding Citizen of Hampton Roads, Virginia. In 1986, he was appointed to a five-year term to the Virginia Governor's Advisory Board for Industrial Development for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Hoffler has also previously served on the boards of the Virginia Racing Commission, the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Virginia Department of Transportation and as Chair of the Hampton Roads Partnership. Mr. Hoffler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Campbell University in North Carolina.
