Abba J. Blum CPA — Lead Partner at Aronson LLC

Mr. Abba J. Blum, CPA serves as a Lead Partner of Aronson LLC. Mr. Blum leads Aronson's Real Estate Industry Services group. He joined Aronson LLC in 1989 and has worked over 22 years in the industry. He specializes in auditing and assurance services as well as income tax rules related to the acquisition, financing, syndication and operation of real estate development. Mr. Blum has made various presentations to real estate groups including the Washington Building Congress, National Association of Homebuilders and other associations on various financial and income tax topics. Mr. Blum has also provided articles for such organizations as the Washington Building Congress where he was the past chair of the Information Technology Committee. As an active member of the community, he was appointed Vice President and treasurer of the Jewish Foundation of Group Homes and serves on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, DC. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and serves as the treasurer of the Green Acres School in Rockville, Maryland. Additionally, he was recently elected to the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees and for the past two years has served on the Board of Directors of one of the largest heavy and highway contractors in the State of Maryland. He earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor's of Art in Economics from the University of Maryland in 1989.
