Jeffery P. Capron — Director at Aronson LLC

Mr. Jeffery P. Capron, also known as Jeff, served as the Managing Partner of Aronson LLC from June 1, 2010 to December 31, 2016. Previously, Mr. Capron served as Senior Officer of Aronson & Company since September 2007. From 1992 to 2005, Mr. Capron served as the Managing Partner of Capron & Associates, LLP, a mid-sized accounting and consulting firm that he founded. In 2005, it merged with Aronson & Company and since then Mr. Capron has served as an A&C officer, providing services to clients as part of its Forensic & Valuation Services Group. In 2006, he was part of a team that created it's newest practice area, the Diversified Commercial Services Group, which he now leads. Mr. Capron is a certified public accountant licensed in DC, MD and VA; a member of the Bar of the District of Columbia; and has earned specialist designations conferred by the AICPA as an Accredited Personal Financial Specialist (APFS), and as Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). He is frequently asked to provide expert commentary regarding issues in the industry and is an active member of the AICPA and MACPA. He serves as a Director of Aronson LLC. He also serves as a Board Member and the Co-Chair of Finance of The National Fund for the U.S. Botanic Garden and as a Board Member and Treasurer for Building Bridges Across the River, Inc. Mr. Capron earned his BA in Economics from Bucknell University in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University in 1978.
