Curtis G. Oltmans — Executive VP, General Counsel & Secretary at Array BioPharma

Mr. Curtis G. Oltmans, also known as Curt, has been Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Array BioPharma Inc. since August 15, 2017 and its Secretary since August 2017. A 25-year veteran of the biopharmaceutical industry, Mr. Oltmans has deep experience on legal matters related to commercialization, litigation, medical, regulatory affairs, intellectual property, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and financial transactions. He served as Corporate Vice President and General Counsel at Novo Nordisk, Inc. from December 2012 to 2017. He was responsible for strategy and initiatives in the areas of law, quality, intellectual property, grants and philanthropy for Novo Nordisk's business in North America. Previously, he served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Oltmans lead the Legal Affairs team. Mr. Oltmans was tapped in 2010 to led Novo Nordisk's Native American Health Initiative, a project designed to build sustainable diabetes care and education programs with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe in Rosebud, South Dakota. He joined Novo Nordisk in June 2005. Prior to Novo Nordisk, he held various positions at Eli Lilly and Company from 1992 to 2005, in a variety of legal roles, including litigation, FDA regulatory and international law. He served as an Associate at Shook, Hardy & Bacon in Kansas City, Missouri from 1989 to 1992, as well as a visiting associate at Cameron McKenna from 1988 to 1989 in London, UK. He's active in the local community, serving on Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Trenton & Mercer County. Mr. Oltmans holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Nebraska in 1985 and Juris Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law.
