Frits van Hout — Chief Program Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Management Board at ASML Holding N.V.

Mr. Frits J. van Hout has been the Chief Program Officer of ASML Holding N.V. since July 1, 2013 and has been its Executive Vice President since 2009 and Member of Management Board since March 26, 2009. Mr. van Hout is in charge of a comprehensive efficiency improvement program at ASML Holding NV. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer of ASML Holding NV since 2009. He rejoined ASML in 2001 as Vice President Customer Support organization and management responsibility at ASML's Research and Development activities, as well as the Sales and Marketing unit. He was with ASML Holding NV from its founding in 1984 through 1992. In this period, he held several positions in engineering, program management and sales. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the Beyeler Group from 1998 to 2001, based in the Netherlands and Germany, where he was responsible for its restructuring and regaining profitability. Before that , he served as a Director of Technical Operations and later Business Unit Manager at Datacolor International in Switzerland and the UK from 1992 to 1997, responsible for the Textile and Printing markets. Mr. van Hout earned a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics at University of Oxford in 1981 and a Master's degree in Applied Physics at Eidgen'ssische Technische Hochschule, Z???rich in 1984.
