Mr. Randall J. Erickson, also known as Randy, J.D. serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Risk Officer at Associated Bank, National Association, Associated Banc-Corp, and Associated Trust Company National Association since April 2012. Mr. Erickson is based in Milwaukee and is responsible for the overall direction, leadership and results of the corporation's legal and government relations functions and legal regulatory affairs. This includes serving as Associated's Secretary and Secretary to the Board of Directors, accountability for goals and strategies related to legal risk management and government relations and a concentrated focus on corporate board matters and governance. Mr. Erickson has 28 years leadership experience to Associated. He served as the Head of Securities Practice Group at Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. He served as a Corporate Secretary - M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank from June 2002 to April 2007. He served as the Chief Administrative Officer of at Marshall & Ilsley Corporation from April 2007 to 2011 and its Senior Vice President and General Counsel from June 2002 to 2011. Mr. Erickson served as the Corporate Secretary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation from June 2002 to April 2007. Mr. Erickson is a Member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin Law School where he lectures on mergers and acquisitions and related topics. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1984 and his bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of Wisconsin -- LaCrosse in 1981.
