Leadership is super responsive and employees actually have a voice. There aren't too many layers of management so it's really easy to speak up and I'm really happy with how open and honest the conversations have been.
Accessible, even keel, good communicator
Base salary is competitive for the positions I've seen compared to similar options in the area. Compensation and role are adjusted based on performance at regular intervals.
Team is extremely talented. It is a mix of space industry veterans that wanted to expand their role and robotics and manufacturing folks. Mostly, I like how much fun people are having and how people respect each other regardless of experience or background. Jerks are shown the door pretty quick
Dedicated, works hard, generally enthusiastic/passionate, generally smart, vast majority is alright to work with.
Again, expectation of competence and enforcement of basic respect sets the tone, then a lot of smart, creative people coming up with new things tends to keep it interesting
Get to do real, impactful work. Can choose to take on more responsibility and volunteer expertise knowledge to further the projects. Excellent place to grow in career. Historic missions.
People will do due diligence and make sure you know your stuff, but generally aren't trying to put you down or be pedantic for the sake of it
It was a standard interview. Not grueling, not a cake-walk.
I work on landing things on the moon for a living. I'll leave it at that
Good team members. Challenging and exciting work.
