Executive Bio
Mr. Eric N. Stober has been the Chief Financial Officer of Astrotech Corp. since November 14, 2013 and has been its Treasurer and Secretary November 2013. Mr. Stober joined Astrotech Corporation in August of 2008 as a Senior Staff Financial Analyst and served as its Principal Financial Analyst since 2008 and its Vice President of Corporate Development since 2012. Mr. Stober has 14 years of experience in private equity, finance and business start-ups. Prior to joining Astrotech Corporation, he worked at the private equity firm Virtus Financial Group, analyzing prospective middle market private equity investments. Mr. Stober served as Executive Officer of The Ayco Company, L.P., a division of Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management. He started his own small business consultancy called Stober Associates. Mr. Stober began his professional career working for both The Ayco Company, a Goldman Sachs company and Lehman Brothers, where he helped wealthy individuals and families manage their investments, taxes, insurance, estate plans and compensation and benefits. Mr. Stober co-founded a web advertising company called Intertainment.com. At McCombs, Mr. Stober serves as the President of the Entrepreneur Society. He is focusing on finance and entrepreneurship while looking to get involved in an early stage start-up. Mr. Stober has an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas where he was the President of the MBA Entrepreneur Society. He also has an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Illinois where he graduated with honors.
