Mr. Rajesh Mellacheruvu, also known as Raj, has been Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Astrotech Corp. since February 2, 2015. Mr. Mellacheruvu has worked with 1st Detect, a subsidiary of Astrotech Corp., in the capacity of interim Chief Operating Officer driving product strategy, management and operational excellence Since 2013. Prior to working with 1st Detect, he served as Vice President of Products and Strategy at a leading centralized & virtualized computing technology firm in Austin, Texas. He served as a Vice President of Engineering for ClearCube Technology, Inc. and served as its Director of Engineering - DataCenter Products. He managed the overall design & development of DataCenter Products & Commodity Solutions. He has over 20 years of experience in start-up and large enterprise environments focused on technology innovation, maximizing P&L performance and full lifecycle product management. He joined ClearCube in 2002. He architected & designed x86 & communications systems at Advanced Micro Devices and Infiniband based systems at Omegaband. At ClearCube, he led the design & architecture of DataCenter products and remote management technology. He focused on next generation remote computing system hardware and technologies. Mr. Mellacheruvu has an MBA in Business Strategy & Finance from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and his BS in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Osmania University.
