George Kopcsay — Staff VP & Corporate Counsel at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings

Mr. George Kopcsay is Staff Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. since 2018. Mr. Kopcsay is responsible for providing a wide range of corporate legal services with a focus on supporting strategic transactions, customer development and key business initiatives. He provides counsel with respect to complex commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and the general needs of our various business units both domestically and abroad. Mr. Kopcsay also plays a leading role in developing and supporting key compliance functions. Mr. Kopcsay joined the company in 2010 and has held roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Kopcsay was an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP where he focused his practice on capital market transactions, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Mr. Kopcsay holds a J.D. from the Boston College Law School and a B.A. from the George Washington University.
