Mr. John W. Dietrich has been the President of Atlas Air, Inc. since October 2014 and serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Dietrich serves as the Chief Transportation Officer and Executive Vice President of Polar Air Cargo Worldwide, Inc. Mr. Dietrich has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. since September 19, 2006. He oversees all aspects of AAWW's operations, including Flight Operations, Worldwide Ground and Technical Operations, Safety and Information Technology. He served as the Executive Vice President at Atlas Air, Inc. Mr. Dietrich served as Chief Human Resources Officer, General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Atlas Air Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. since February 18, 2004, Secretary since September 2005, General Counsel since May 28, 2003 and also served as its Chief Human Resources Officer since February 2004. He served as Vice President of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc., from March 2003 to February 18, 2004. He served as Acting General Counsel of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc., since March 2003 and also as its Vice President until February 18, 2004. He joined Atlas Air in 1999 as Associate General Counsel and became Deputy General Counsel in December 2002. Prior to joining Atlas Air, he spent 13 years at United Airlines. His last role at United was as a litigation attorney providing legal counsel to all levels of management on employment and commercial litigation issues. Mr. Dietrich has more than a decade of experience in aviation and a strong and varied legal background, including contract negotiation and management, litigation and corporate law. He serves as a Member of the Bar in New York, Illinois and Colorado. He is a member of the New York, Illinois and Colorado Bars. Mr. Dietrich earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern Illinois University and received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from John Marshall Law School.
