Mr. Hong served as Vice President of Display Product Unit at AU Optronics Corp. since March 2012. Mr. Hong joined AUO in 2001 and served as its Associate Vice President of TV Display Product Development Center and was in charge of the R&D of TV displays since 2002. In 1993, Mr. Hong was with the Electronic Research and Service Organization in Industry Technology Research Institute (ERSO/ITRI) for the development of flat panel displays. He served as a Director of Daxin Materials Corporation since November 3, 2016 until June 1, 2017. Mr. Hong received his M.S. In Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
