Kuo-Hsin Tsai — President, COO & Director at AU Optronics Corp

Mr. Kuo-Hsin Tsai, also known as Michael, has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of AU Optronics Corp. since November 01, 2015. Mr. Tsai served as Senior Vice President at AU Optronics Corp. from 2013 to November 1, 2015 and served as its Vice President since 2012 and General Manager of the Video Solution Business Group from 2012 to November 1, 2015. He served as an Associate Vice President of Procurement Division at AU Optronics Corp. from 2005 to 2006, Senior Associate Vice President of IT Display Manufacturing team from 2007 to 2008, the Head of Information Technology Business Group from 2008 to 2011 and Vice President of Video Solutions Business Group from 2011 to 2012. He worked in various divisions at Acer Display, including Material Management and Procurement and served as also the Director of Suzhou module plant of Acer Display from 2002 to 2005. He has been a Director of Daxin Materials Corporation since June 1, 2017 and AU Optronics Corp. since 2016. He served as a Director of Qisda Corporation since June 26, 2014. Mr. Tsai received BA in Business Administration from National Cheng Kung university and EMBA from National Chiao Tung University in 2010. He holds M.S. in Management from National Chiao Tung University.
