Mr. David S. Phillips, CFA has been Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited since April 17, 2014. Mr. Phillips served as the Head of Equities and Executive Vice President at PartnerRe Asset Management Corporation. He has more than 18 years experience in investments. Mr. Phillips served as the Head of Investments for PartnerRe Ltd. Prior to PartnerRe, he served as a Managing Director, Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer Capital LLC. Prior to joining Oppenheimer Capital, Mr. Phillips spent four years at Marakon Associates. He is a CFA charter holder. Mr. Phillips earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. Cum Laude from the Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School.
