Eric Gesick — Group Chief Underwriting Officer at Axis Capital Holdings Limited

Mr. Eric Gesick has been Group Chief Underwriting Officer of Axis Capital Holdings Limited since January 2018. Mr. Gesick served as Chief Risk and Actuarial Officer of Axis Capital Holdings Limited since January 2015 and served as its Group Chief Actuary from October 2, 2012 to January 2015. Mr. Gesick served as Chief Actuarial Officer of PartnerRe Ltd., since December 14, 2007. Mr. Gesick had overall responsibility for PartnerRe's actuarial function, heading a team of actuaries which oversaw PartnerRe's reserving processes, manages capital allocation and implements company-wide actuarial models and has 20 years of experience. Mr. Gesick served as Chief Actuary, within the Financial, Professional and International Insurance segment of Travelers Companies Inc., (formerly St. Paul Travelers Companies, Inc)., and was its Regional Vice President of Construction Division and Vice President of Specialty Commercial Actuarial. Mr. Gesick is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the Academy of Actuaries and holds a B.B.A. in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin as well as a CFA designation.
