Gary Fischer — Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary at AXT Inc

Mr. Gary L. Fischer has been Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of AXT Inc. since August 11, 2014 and served as its Vice President. Mr. Fischer has responsibility for AXT's global finance and accounting organization. He has been a Consultant at eRide since 2014 and expanded his consulting practice to assist a number of growth companies on a variety of finance and M&A projects. He is a Silicon Valley veteran, with extensive experience working in Asia and Europe. He served as Chief Financial Officer of eRIDE, Inc., and Soil and Topography Information, Inc. He served as an Acting Chief Financial Officer of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. (ISSI) from November 16, 2005 to February 2006 and also served as its Acting Secretary. He served as President of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc., from April 2001 to November 16, 2005, Chief Financial Officer until November 16, 2005 and Chief Operating Officer since April 2001. He also served as Chief Accounting Officer of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. from April 1995 to March 2001 and prior to that, as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from June 1993 to March 1995. From January 1989 to December 1992, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Synergy Semiconductor Corp., a manufacturer of high performance SRAM and logic integrated circuits. He served as a Director of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc.; E-CMOS from November 2001 to June 2003; ESS Technology Inc., from August 3, 2004 to May 21, 2007 and Pericom Semiconductor Corp., from May 9, 2005 to July 31, 2007. Mr. Fischer holds an M.B.A. degree from the University of Santa Clara and a B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
