Dennis P. Duffy — Partner at Baker & Hostetler

Mr. Dennis P. Duffy is a Partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP. Mr. Duffy served as a Partner at Baker Botts LLP since August 3, 2006. He served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for labor and employment for Time Warner Inc. Before Time Warner, Mr. Duffy served as general counsel for the University of Houston and the University of Houston System. He was also the first general counsel of the U.S. Office of Compliance in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for enforcing several labor and employment laws that applied to employment with the U.S. Congress and legislative branch of the federal government. He is a member of the California and Texas Bars and is licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California and the Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and has been elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the National Employment Law Institute. Mr. Duffy received his A.B. degree from Princeton University and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia.
