Mr. G. Thomas Ball serves as Partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP. Mr. Ball practices business law, representing profit and not-for-profit trade associations, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and private clubs in a variety of industries, including real estate, resort development, health care, and trade associations. His practice also extends to counseling clients on individual business and personal matters. Mr. Ball served as President at the Central Florida Kidney Center from 1983 to 1984 and its Vice President. He has been a Director of Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc. since 1977. Mr. Ball is involved in a variety of bar association and community activities. Mr. Ball has served on the Boards of Directors of numerous business, civic, and charitable organizations, including both the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida, Inc. and a member of the Regional Board of Advisors of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce. He was director of the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce, a co-chair of the Crime Prevention Task Force of Project 2000, and Director of the Crime Commission, Inc. Mr. Ball served as President of the North Orlando Kiwanis Little League 1986. He served as Director of the Boggy Creek Gang. He is a member and director of the Country Club of Orlando, a member of the Citrus Club, and a past member of the Rio Pinar Country Club. In 1986 Mr. Ball received the Orlando Police Department's Outstanding Citizen Award. On behalf of The Florida Bar, he has authored the chapter on 'Partition' of the Florida Real Property Litigation (1996) manual and the 'Real Estate Transactions' chapter of the Professional Liability of Lawyers in Florida (2002) manual, and serves as a lecturer for the Real Estate Certification Review Course of The Florida Bar.
