Mr. Patrick Hannon serves as a Partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP since January 2007. He is a member of the firm's White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations group. His practice focuses on domestic and foreign criminal and civil trial and appellate litigation and other matters before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, self-regulatory organizations and international tribunals, as well as corporate investigations and complex financial transactions. In addition to his white collar practice, Mr. Hannon has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer and also as a banker advising and representing U.S., European, Asian and Latin American governmental agencies, corporations and financial institutions in domestic and cross-border public and private financing and investment transactions. While working at the world's largest securities brokerage firm for more than a dozen years, Mr. Hannon served as Head of Global Money Markets Product and Transaction Management, overseeing annually the negotiation and execution of more than $500 billion of continuously offered and underwritten investment grade, high yield, asset-backed and derivative instrument programs for supranational, sovereign, multinational and domestic industrial, bank, utility and other issuers in the public and private marketplace. He also served as the investment bank's Relationship Manager responsible for origination of publicly offered and privately placed money market, deposit, medium term, floating rate and asset-backed and structured short-term financings issued by all money center and regional banks and agencies and branches of foreign banks and other financial institutions located in the eastern United States. In addition to advising and representing institutional and individual clients in white collar matters and a wide array of complex financial transactions, Mr. Hannon has worked on numerous Holocaust restitution matters, and in October Term 2003 assisted in preparation of briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court in Republic of Austria & Oesterreichische Industrieholding AG v. Whiteman and Republic of Austria v. Altmann. Mr. Hannon is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. His education includes J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and B.A. from Yale College.
