Mr. Rick Johnson has been Chief Financial Officer at Baker & Hostetler LLP since December 2016. Mr. Johnson joined Baker & Hostetler after 11 years with Perkins Coie LLP. With more than 30 years of experience in financial management, including other legal and accounting Chief Financial Officer positions, he understands the unique financial and operational structures of an Am Law Firm and has a record of achievement in helping organizations maintain and improve their financial stability and success. At Baker & Hostetler, he oversees all of the Baker & Hostetler LLP's financial processes and works closely with firm management and attorneys to develop tools and resources to continue strengthening client relationships. His accounting background, paired with nearly 20 years in the legal industry and his attention to client service to Baker & Hostetler firm's continued growth. He started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., and served as Senior Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand. He served as Chief Financial Officer for AIA Services Corporation. He joined the legal profession in 1997 as the first Chief Financial Officer for Seattle-based Bogle & Gates and then spent six years as Chief Financial Officer at Preston Gates & Ellis LLP before joining Perkins Coie.
