Mr. David Mika serves as President of North Shore and Head of US Salesforce Effectiveness Delivery - Chicago at Bank of Montreal. Mr. Mika served as Market President for Lakeshore Market of The Chicago Metro Region at BMO Harris Bank National Association since October 4, 2012. Mr. Mika is responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver the breadth of BMO Harris' retail banking, business banking and wealth management services at 12 bank locations in downtown Chicago, Hyde Park and Kenwood. He served as Northwest Indiana Regional President - Harris at Bank of Montreal since July 2010. He has been Northwest Indiana Regional President for BMO Bancorp, Inc. since June 2010. His responsibilities include the management, development and execution of retail banking strategies and services at 19 branches in Harris' Northwest Indiana footprint. A 23-year veteran of the financial services industry, Mr. Mika joined Harris from J.P. Morgan Chase, where he served as Vice President of National Management Development Program, Regional Sales & Service Manager for markets in 17 states and Market Manager for the retail staff and small business bankers located across 72 branches. He was instrumental in JP Morgan Chase's integration of Washington Mutual after its acquisition and acted as a project lead during the management integration, conversion and training process. He served as Northwest Indiana Market Manager, was responsible for managing and growing the profitability of 72 branches with more than 500 employees. He has 25 years of financial services experience. He has proven expertise in leading teams of skilled individuals, as well as a familiarity with the Northwest Indiana market. He is a very active member in the Northwest Indiana community, serving on boards of eight different not-for-profits and has helped BMO Harris Bank expand its brand presence in the market. He was a board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County. Mr. Mika earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Illinois, a Master of Business Administration in finance from DePaul University and an advanced degree in banking from the Prochnow Graduate School of Banking.
