Mr. Al Grygiel serves as Senior Vice President - Commercial Real Estate, Residential Construction and Development Lending at Bank of the Ozarks. Mr. Grygiel served as Senior Vice President at Paragon Commercial Bank since June 13, 2014 until October 2015. Mr. Grygiel was responsible for overseeing the development of custom-tailored business banking solutions to help clients achieve their goals. He has 30 years of production and leadership experience in commercial banking and commercial real estate to Paragon Bank. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Vice President at SunTrust, where he managed commercial and industrial banking operations for the Charlotte market. Active in the Charlotte business community, Mr. Grygiel is a member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, the Charlotte Chamber Manufacturers Council, Charlotte Regional Partnership, British American Business Council, Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation, German American Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Home Builders. In addition, he dedicates his personal time to a number of community organizations, including Men's Shelter of Charlotte, The First Tee of Charlotte, Leadership Charlotte, Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte and St. Matthew Catholic Church. Mr. Grygiel holds BSBA in Finance from East Carolina University - College of Business.
