Mr. McKinney served as Executive Vice President and Controller at the Ozarks Bank, a subsidiary of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. McKinney served as a member of the financial leadership team of a publicly-traded software development and data management company. For most of the year 2000, Mr. McKinney served as a Senior Audit Manager of a local C.P.A. firm. From 1991 to 2000, he held various positions with a big-four public accounting firm, leaving as senior audit manager when The Ozarks Inc. closed its Little Rock office. He has been a Director of The Ozarks Inc. since January 16, 2007 and serves as a Director of its subsidiary Bank of the Ozarks. He served as a Director of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc., from 2014 to May 18, 2015. Mr. McKinney is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
