Mr. McKinney served as an Executive Vice President and Controller of Bank of The Ozarks from 2003 to December 31, 2010. Mr. McKinney served as Executive Vice President and Controller at the Ozarks Bank, a subsidiary of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. McKinney served as a member of the financial leadership team of a publicly-traded software development and data management company. For most of the year 2000, Mr. McKinney served as a Senior Audit Manager of a local C.P.A. firm. From 1991 to 2000, he held various positions with a big-four public accounting firm, leaving as senior audit manager when The Ozarks Inc. closed its Little Rock office. He has been a Director of The Ozarks Inc. since January 16, 2007 and serves as a Director of its subsidiary Bank of the Ozarks. He served as a Director of Bank of the Ozarks, Inc., from 2014 to May 18, 2015. Mr. McKinney is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
