Richard M. Levine — Executive VP, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary at Belmond Ltd.

Mr. Richard M. Levine has been the Chief Legal Officer of Belmond Ltd. since February 21, 2012 and also serves as its Executive Vice President and Secretary. Mr. Levine served as General Counsel at Hellman & Friedman LLC and Credit Suisse AG. He served as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. He served as an Executive Vice President at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and also served as its General Counsel since March 3, 2004. He served as Vice President of Belmond Ltd. since February 2012. With a legal career spanning over 23 years, he joins Orient-Express from Kerzner International Holdings Ltd, where he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel since April 5, 2004 and led the legal, regulatory and compliance departments, negotiations for major corporate investments and financings under the acclaimed One&Only and Atlantis brands. Prior to joining Kerzner International, he served as General Counsel at the Private Equity Division of Credit Suisse First Boston. He served as an Assistant General Counsel of TELE-TV, a multimedia joint venture among Bell Atlantic, NYNEX and Pacific Telesis and an Associate in the New York and Tokyo offices of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. Mr. Levine graduated from Dartmouth College and Cornell Law School.
