David M. Johnson — Senior VP & CFO at Berkeley Research Group

Mr. David M. Johnson has been Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Berkeley Research Group, LLC since October 03, 2017. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of International Rescue Committee since February 2016 and served as its senior vice president. Mr. Johnson serves at Avis Budget Group, Inc. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of FTI Consulting, Inc. since August 25, 2014 until February 29, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Athene Holding Ltd. from April 8, 2013 to August 20, 2014. Mr. Johnson has more than 20 years of financial services and capital markets experience. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Fannie Mae from 2008 to 2010. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. from May 1, 2001 to April 30, 2008 and also served as a Member of Office of the Chairman until April 30, 2008. Prior to joining Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. Mr. Johnson served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Cendant Corporation from November 1998 to 2001. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Johnson was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Federal National Mortgage Association. He served as Managing Director of Investment Banking Division, at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, where he worked with major clients in a variety of industries including insurance, airlines and technology, as well as leveraged buyout funds, from 1986 to 1998. He joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Analyst in 1986 and served in a number of roles including Co-Chief Operating Officer of the global investment banking division in 1997. He serves as a trustee for The Boys and Girls Club of America and Connecticut Public Television. Mr. Johnson holds an AB degree with honors in social studies from Harvard University in 1982 and a Master's degree in Economics from Yale University in 1986.
