He served as Senior Manager of Deloitte & Touche LLP and Deloitte FAS LLP, New York, NY from 2001 to 2007. At Deutsche Bank, he was Global Electronic Trading team Technical Lead and Project Manager for concept evaluation and prototype developments in high-frequency market data exploitation and real-time statistical model generation for trading analytics, Technical Lead for model development in fixed income market microstructure dynamics for real-time trading applications, Member of Global Markets Recruiting Team and Recruiting liaison for Carnegie Mellon and MIT graduate students. He served as Staff Scientist/Team Lead at Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Lincoln Laboratory from 1986 to 1996. At MIT, he was Lead engineer for aero/thermodynamics on high-profile multimillion dollar programs in advanced missile defense technology, Lead engineer for computational fluid dynamics and computational aero/thermodynamics, Lead engineer for computational aerodynamics on successful DoD-MIT technology program in towed aeronautical systems for tactical missile defense and Contract technical reviewer. He served as Staff Scientist, Central Intelligence Agency at Office of Scientific and Weapons Research, Washington, DC from 1977 to 1986 and was Team Lead for analysis of foreign strategic missile warhead designs, Lead analyst for performance and vulnerability analysis of foreign nuclear power reactors, Project technical liaison to Department of Energy National Laboratories and CIA contractors, Acting Chief of Ballistic Missile Analysis Branch and Technical advisor and instructor for systems analysts serving allied governments. Mr. Kautz received Special Service Award from American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics and Outstanding Section Award for Achievements from American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics. He is a Member of Bachelier Finance Society, Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and System Dynamics Society. He is a Senior Member of Institute of Industrial Engineers and American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics. Mr. Kautz studied Nuc.E from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, M.S with Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, M.S. with Nuclear Engingeering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and B.Sc. with Nuclear Engineering, magna cum laude from University of Tennessee.
