Mr. Frederick Kautz, Fred has been a Principal of Berkeley Research Group, LLC since 2010. Mr. Kautz has more than 15 years experience in areas related to derivatives pricing methodologies, electronic trading, structured transaction design and valuation, and risk management in global markets. His previous experience includes senior positions with UHY Advisors, Charles River Associates, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, and MIT. He served as a Principal at UHY Advisors FLVS, Inc. until 2010 and was its Co-head of the national Derivatives & Risk Analytics practice. He served as Managing Partner at Risk Networks LLC from 2009 to 2010. He served as a Principal of Charles River Associates from 2007 to 2009. He served as Senior Manager of Deloitte & Touche LLP and Deloitte FAS LLP, New York, NY from 2001 to 2007. Mr. Kautz served as Vice President of Deutsche Bank from 1997to 2000. At Deutsche Bank, he was Global Electronic Trading team Technical Lead and Project Manager for concept evaluation and prototype developments in high-frequency market data exploitation and real-time statistical model generation for trading analytics, Technical Lead for model development in fixed income market microstructure dynamics for real-time trading applications, Member of Global Markets Recruiting Team and Recruiting liaison for Carnegie Mellon and MIT graduate students. He served as Staff Scientist/Team Lead at Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Lincoln Laboratory from 1986 to 1996. Mr. Kautz studied Nuc.E from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, M.S with Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, M.S. with Nuclear Engingeering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and B.Sc. with Nuclear Engineering, magna cum laude from University of Tennessee.
