Mr. Guy F. Erb has been the Managing Director of Berkeley Research Group, LLC since 2012. Prior to this, Mr. Erb served as the Managing Director of FTI Consulting, Inc. from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, he served as a Director at LECG, LLC from 2005 until 2009. He prepared expert reports and deposed on matters related to financial services, including due diligence undertaken by investment banks, fairness opinions, securities offerings under Rule 144A, exit financing for companies emerging from bankruptcy, banking standards and practices, the independence of audit committees, international payments systems, and the international arbitration of investment banking and real estate disputes. Prior to that, Mr. Erb served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of RapidMoney Corporation from 2000 to 2005. He founded RapidMoney in 2000 and led its operations until 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Erb served as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs Mexico from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Erb served as Managing Director at Lafayette Capital Corporation from 1987 until 1990. Mr. Erb served as a Board Member of Goldman Sachs M??xico, Casa de Bolsa, SA de CV from 1994 until 1997. He served at Goldman Sachs from 1990 until 1994. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Erb helped develop Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s business in Mexico, Latin America, and Europe. Mr. Erb has previously served as a Foreign Service Officer and as a Financial Advisor to inter-governmental organizations. He served as the Board Member of Mexican Stock Exchange from 1996 until 1997; Alternate Board Member of Pepsi-Gemex from 1994 until 1996; and Board Member of American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico from 1996 until 1997. Mr. Erb served on several Boards of Directors, testified before the United States House and Senate and the International Trade Commission and also held senior United States government positions. He has experience in financial advisory services, investment banking, commercial banking, money services businesses, and expert services, including testimony. He has held senior positions in government and international organizations. Mr. Erb has advised clients on the enhancement of the value of large family-held assets and has testified on valuation and damages at trial in the Southern District of New York, and on project financing and investment banking practices at arbitrations. He has prepared expert reports and been deposed on underwriter due diligence and other banking and investment banking issues. Mr. Erb's wide international experience, both in business and policy, includes commercial banking and investment banking, government, international organizations, and corporate consulting. Mr. Erb is a Faculty Director and Senior Fellow at The Levin Graduate Institute, The State University of New York. From 1987 to 1999, he qualified for NASD and NYSE certifications as General Securities Principal Series 24 and General Securities Representative Series 7 licenses. Mr. Erb is a frequently published Analyst and Commentator on news, financial, investment, and trade issues. He also held a comparable certification from Mexican financial regulators. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science; Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Erb is fluent in Spanish.
