Jeffrey H. Cramer — Managing Director of Global Investigations & Strategic Intelligence Practice at Berkeley Research Group

Mr. Jeffrey H. Cramer, also known as Jeff, has been the Managing Director of Global Investigations & Strategic Intelligence Practice at Berkeley Research Group, LLC since June 28, 2016. Mr. Cramer served as the Head of the Practice's Chicago Office and Managing Director of Kroll, Inc. since October 2009. Mr. Cramer supervised a wide variety of assignments throughout the Midwest and Texas including corporate investigations, fraud and detection, due diligence and regulatory issues. He joined Kroll following nine years in the U.S. Attorney's office where he most recently served as Senior Litigation Counsel. In this capacity, he was responsible for trial strategy and jury arguments in all criminal trials. He investigated a broad range of cases including corporate fraud, organized crime, money laundering, RICO, foreign terrorist organizations, public corruption, securities fraud, and regulatory and export violations. Mr. Cramer was a Member of the trial team that prosecuted fraudulent activity at Hollinger International leading to the conviction of Conrad Black, other top executives and a foreign corporation. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City from 1993 to 1997. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate investigations, fraud detection, due diligence and regulatory issues. After his tenure in New York, he worked for three years at a major international law firm where he gained experience in litigation and real estate. An Adjunct Professor at DePaul University Law School, he is a frequent lecturer both nationally and internationally. Mr. Cramer has earned commendations from the Director of the FBI, the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the United States Secret Service and the Department of Justice. .
