Mr. Philip Y. Rowley, also known as Phil has been the Chief Revenue Officer of Berkeley Research Group, LLC since November 18, 2015. Mr. Rowley serves as an Executive Director of Berkeley Research Group, LLC. Mr. Rowley served as Vice President at CRA International Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in the expert services and litigation consulting industry. In an era of increasing specialization among litigation consultants, Mr. Rowley remains one of the true generalists, whose expertise spans not only across industries but types of disputes and analysis. Among the matters in which he has testified and consulted include intellectual property (patent/trademark/trade secret), securities litigation, professional liability, business interruption, valuation and contracts. At Navigant, he served as Head of both the Insurance and Intellectual Property Practices. Mr. Rowley served as a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Market Strategy and Business Development of LECG Corporation with overall leadership responsibility for its business development and marketing. Mr. Rowley served as the President of Resolution Economics LLC since May 2008. Mr. Rowley served as the Managing Director of global expert services firm LECG, where he served as a Member of the Executive Management Team and led its labor and employment practice. He previously held management and practice leadership positions at both Navigant, while remaining active as an expert in high-profile business litigation. He served with Peterson Consulting for sixteen years where he performed in leadership roles including Managing Director and Vice President. He has participated in and managed numerous consulting assignments involving breach of contract, patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, licensing, antitrust, business interruption, dealer termination, warranty, securities, valuation matters and professional liability. He has also provided consulting support involving financial and economic analysis, license negotiations, accounting, computerized information systems, statistics and expert witness testimony. He has previously delivered testimony in federal, state and tax courts and has spoken on litigation issues ranging from patent damages and IP valuation to forensic analysis and labor economics. Mr. Rowley has testified as an expert in federal and state courts, before arbitration panels and he has conducted numerous damage analyses on products and services for a variety of industries. Mr. Rowley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Stanford University.
