Leonard Harvey — Executive MD & GM of Latin America at BGC Partners

Mr. Leonard Harvey, also known as Len, serves as an Executive Managing Director and General Manager of Latin America at BGC Partners, Inc. Mr. Harvey is responsible for overseeing the brokerage businesses in the Latin American region. He joined BGC Partners in 2008. Mr. Harvey served as Executive Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region at BGC Partners, Inc. since November 6, 2008 and served as its General Manager of Asia-Pacific Operations. Mr. Harvey was responsible for BGC's businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining BGC, Mr. Harvey served as Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific at Prebon Asia and was responsible for the expansion of the business into Manila, Bangkok, India and Jakarta. Mr. Harvey served as Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific of Tullett and Prebon since 2004. Mr. Harvey's career in the financial markets has spanned over 35 years, beginning as a trader at Foreign and Colonial Investment in London. He joined Prebon International in London as a broker for Inter Bank and Local Government. Since 1985, he served as Director of Yen Swap Broking in Capital Market and Treasury Services for Prebon in Hong Kong.
