Louis Scotto — Americas CEO at BGC Partners

Mr. Louis Scotto, also known as Lou, serves as an Americas Chief Executive Officer at BGC Partners, Inc. Mr. Scotto served as an Executive Managing Director and General Manager of North America at BGC Partners, Inc. Mr. Scotto is responsible for BGC Partners' operations in North America. Mr. Scotto joined BGC Partners in early 2011 as Executive Managing Director for the Americas business. Mr. Scotto serves as the Chief Executive of Tullett Liberty Limited. He served as a Consultant and Senior Advisor of Tullett Prebon plc since March 9, 2009. Mr. Scotto served as Group Chief Operating Officer and Chief Operating Officer of North America of Tullett Prebon from 2000 to 2003. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Scotto served as Chief Executive Officer of Tullett Prebon Americas. He served as a Senior Managing Director with responsibility for new business development at Liberty Brokerage. With over 30 years experience in the broking industry, Mr. Scotto -started his career 1981 at Garban, which merged with Intercapital Plc in 1999 to form ICAP. In 1992, Mr. Scotto joined Liberty Brokerage in London. He started his career as Marketing Manager of AT&T. Mr. Scotto served as Group Chief Executive Officer of Collins Stewart Tullett Plc. and upon the acquisition of Prebon. He served as the Chief Executive Officer for Americas at Tullett Prebon plc until February 2, 2007 and as its Chief Executive Officer of Americas Operations until March 9, 2009. He joined Garban in 1981 as Head of Technology and served as President of Garban Computer Systems. In 1984, he joined Mabon Nugent and was its General Partner and also served as its Chief Administrative Officer. In 1993, he joined Liberty Brokerage as Managing Director, responsible for creation of US Corporate Bonds and Mortgage-Back Bond business. Based in London from 1994 to 1999, he built the business of Liberty Eurasia. Since 1999, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Brokerage and also served as Chief Executive of Tullett Liberty since April 2004. Mr. Scotto served as an Executive Director of Tullett Prebon Group Holdings plc (formerly, Collins Stewart Tullett PLC) from June 2004 to February 2, 2007.
