Mr. Steven R. McMurray, also known as Steve, has been Chief Financial Officer of BGC Partners, Inc. since April 4, 2016. Mr. McMurray is responsible for BGC's global accounting, controlling and treasury functions, including all financial reporting and budgeting. He served as Finance Director of Amlin Underwriting Limited since November 2008. He served as Head of Finance of MS Amlin plc. He joined Amlin in 2007. He served as Chief Financial Accountant of the Bank of England from 2003 to 2007 and also worked for eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. From 2007 to 2016, Mr. McMurray held various positions in Amlin plc and served as its Director of Finance from 2011 to 2016. He also served as a Senior Manager of Banking and Capital Markets at PricewaterhouseCoopers in public accounting. He has more than 20 years of experience serving the financial services industry in various senior-level financial management capacities. He is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Accountants, having begun his career with PwC, where he served as part of the Banking & Capital Markets practice. Mr. McMurray is an MA graduate of Cambridge University.
