Kevin J. Bruno — Co-Chair of Energy, Environment & Mass Torts Practice Group and Partner at Blank Rome LLP

Mr. Kevin J. Bruno serves as Co-Chair of Energy, Environment & Mass Torts Practice Group and Partner at Blank Rome LLP. Mr. Bruno serves as the leadership of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation. He serves as one of the Sections Division Directors since 2017 until 2018 bar year. In his new role as division director, he supervise 11 of the 21 substantive committees of the Section of Litigation as well as collaborate with ABAs leaders to further the associations goals. held various leadership positions within the Section. Most recently, in June 2016, he served as co-chair of the Section of Litigations 2,000-member Environmental & Energy Litigation Committee and he serves as for a seventh term as the Section of Litigations liaison to the ABAs Standing Committee on Environmental Law, now known as the Special Committee on Section, Division and Forum Coordination. He served as co-chair of the Sections Expert Witnesses Committee. At Blank Rome, Mr. Bruno co-chairs the Firms Energy, Environment and Mass Torts practice group. He served as co-chair of the Firms policyholder-only Insurance Coverage practice group. He has nearly 30 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, concentrating his practice in environmental and mass tort litigation and compliance counseling to a broad spectrum of industries. He also spent his career representing policyholder clients in their pursuit of claims in multiple lines of insurance coverage and provides counseling to clients in their placement of a broad array of first party and liability insurance products. In addition to his various leadership roles within the ABA, he was member of the Board of Directors and treasurer of the Law Firm Sustainability Network (LFSN) in 2014, a nonprofit organization of law firms and legal departments committed to promoting the benefits of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility within their firms and throughout the legal industry. He is adjunct professor of environmental law at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. He is fellow of the American Bar Foundation in New York.
