Mr. Amit Seshan has been Executive Vice President of Business Operations at Blucora, Inc. since June 2015. Mr. Seshan drives growth and performance across the Blucora portfolio by orchestrating the rhythm-of-business engagement with business units, prioritizing and accelerating strategic growth initiatives reliant on digital transformation, systems & automation. Mr. Seshan is also responsible for operational diligence of the Blucora's future acquisition targets with a view to unlocking performance improvements while integrating them harmoniously into Blucora's operating framework. Most recently, Mr. Seshan served as Chief Executive Officer of StressCenter Holdings, where he doubled revenue in 6 quarters and led his team to EBITDA and free-cash flow breakeven in 15 months, culminating in a fresh round of financing. Mr. Seshan served as Senior Advisor (Strategy & Analytics) to the President and SVPs of Match Inc., where he advised on M&A transactions through Match's multi-year consolidation of global dating assets, led the post-buyout integration of Meetic (Match's Pan-European Sub), developed and implemented pricing & growth strategies for Match, PeopleMedia and OKCupid. Mr. Seshan also spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, where he led client development and engagements with Fortune 500 telecom, media and technology companies. His experience at McKinsey & Company was weighted towards helping principal investors with sector scanning & diligence, turnaround planning, performance improvement & optimizing sales & marketing. In addition, he has worked in product development for the Ford Motor Company and served as an oilfield exploration engineer with Schlumberger. Mr. Seshan received his B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Bombay), and his S.M. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
