Mr. Robert D. Oros, also known as Bob, has been Chief Executive Officer of HD Vest Financial Services at Blucora, Inc. since February 28, 2017. Mr. Oros has been Chief Executive Officer of HD Vest, Inc. since February 28, 2017. Mr. Oros has more than 20 years of sales and operational experience and has served in leadership roles at leading brokerage and investment advisory firms where he had a strong track record of successfully recruiting and retaining advisors. Prior to HD Vest, he served as the Executive Vice President, Head of the RIA Segment, Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, a unit of Fidelity Investments, from 2012 to 2017. He lead a team of hundreds of associates who provide RIAs access to a flexible, open-technology environment, extensive practice management resources, wealth management investments and related execution and custody services. Prior to Fidelity, Mr. Oros served as a National Sales Manager at Trust Company of America from 2010 to 2012, Executive Vice President and Head of Custom Clearing Services at LPL Financial from 2009 to 2010 and Vice President and Senior Divisional Manager of Schwab Advisor Services at Charles Schwab from 2002 to 2007. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Financial Planning. Mr. Oros has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Central Michigan University and has completed graduate work in finance at Walsh College.
