Mr. Alexis Borisy, A.M., has been a Partner of Third Rock Ventures, LLC since 2010. Mr. Borisy joined Third Rock Ventures in 2009 and served as its Entrepreneur-in-Residence since joining in 2009. He focuses on the formation, development and strategy of new companies with a particular focus in personalized medicine. He is the President and Board Chairman at Tango Therapeutics. Mr. Borisy serves as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Relay Therapeutics. He is a successful biotechnology entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience building and operating innovative science based organizations. Mr. Borisy is a Co-Founder of Relay Therapeutics, Inc. and serves as its Executive Chairman and served as its Interim Chief Executive Officer until April 4, 2017. He was a Partner of Relay Therapeutics, Inc. until April 5, 2017. He was a Co-Founder of Blueprint Medicines Corporation and served as its Interim Chief Executive Officer from May 2013 to July 2014. He trained in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard, where he was a Howard Hughes Predoctoral Fellow. He has a significant experience as a Senior Consultant in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, where he advised senior management in areas of corporate strategy, portfolio management and business development. Mr. Borisy holds an A.B. and B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and an A.M. in Chemistry from Harvard University, where he did his graduate work in the laboratory of Dr. Stuart Schreiber 2009.
