Lou Madariaga brings more than 25 years of global finance leadership experience across technology, industrial manufacturing, IT-driven & professional services, and franchise organizations. Throughout his career, he has partnered with CEOs, executive leadership teams, boards, and private equity sponsors to strengthen financial performance, lead complex business transformations, and build scalable finance organizations that support long-term growth.
Prior to joining BVI, Lou served as a CFO-level consultant, advising organizations on finance transformation, operating model redesign, and strategic growth initiatives. Earlier, he served as Vice President of Finance at Praxair Distribution, where he led the finance organization for a $2.3 billion global business and played a key role in the integration of Praxair and Linde. Before that, Lou spent more than 15 years at Xerox, holding executive finance leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Financial Officer of Xerox Chile and Vice President of Finance for several global business units, where he led business turnarounds, operational improvements, and finance modernization initiatives across the Americas.
Lou holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and General Management from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Management and International Business from New York University Stern School of Business.
