John R. MacQuarrie — President of Bwxt Canada, Ltd at BWX Technologies, Inc.

Mr. John R. MacQuarrie has been President of Babcock & Wilcox Canada, Ltd. (alternate name, Bwxt Canada, Ltd) at BWX Technologies, Inc. since April 2013. Mr. MacQuarrie focuses on the optimization of B&W's Canadian operations, including the growth of B&W Canada's Nuclear Services and Nuclear Equipment organizations and supporting B&W Canada's Thermal Power organization. With more than 20 years of nuclear industry experience, Mr. MacQuarrie's career includes 16 years with the BWX. He served as Vice-president, business development and marketing for B&W NE. Prior to that, he was the Vice-President of nuclear services for B&W NE. Before joining B&W NE, he held several roles within B&W Canada, including Sales Manager, General Manager for nuclear services and eventually General Manager for B&W Canada's Nuclear Power organization. He also sits on the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Public Affairs Advisory Committee for the Canadian Nuclear Association. He holds a bachelor's degree and master's degrees of applied science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
