Mr. B. John Lindeman has been the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Calavo Growers Inc. since August 01, 2015. Prior to joining Calavo, Mr. Lindeman served as Managing Director at Sageworth Trust Company. Prior to joining Sageworth, Mr. Lindeman served as Managing Director at Janney Montgomery Scott from August 2009 to March 2015. Mr. Lindeman served as Co-Head of Consumer and Retail Investment Banking Group at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Mr. Lindeman has more than 10 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Janney, he served as Managing Director of Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated (Stifel Nicolaus' Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group), focusing on the food and beverage sectors from December 2005 to August 2009. Mr. Lindeman also served as a member of Stifel Nicolaus' Fairness Opinion Committee. He served as Principal at Legg Mason from October 1999 to December 2005. Previously, he was a Manager in the Corporate Finance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Lindeman received his B.S. from the University of Mary Washington and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
