James M. Lienert — Interim Executive Vice President at California Resources Corporation

Mr. James M. Lienert, also known as Jim, serves as Interim Executive Vice President of California Resources Corporation. Mr. Lienert served as an Executive Vice President of Business Support for Occidental Petroleum Corporation since August 6, 2012. Mr. Lienert served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Occidental Petroleum Corporation from August 2010 to August 6, 2012. He also served as an Executive Vice President of Finance and Planning at Occidental Petroleum Corporation from February 7, 2006 to 2010. He served as Vice President of Occidental Petroleum Corporation from March 1, 2004 to 2006 and Co-president of its subsidiary, Occidental Chemical Corporation (OxyChem) from March 1, 2004 to 2006. He served as Head of OxyChem's vinyls business since August 2002 and also assumed responsibility for overseeing OxyChem's technology staff and supply chain organization. In September 2000, he was selected to lead OxyChem's chlor-alkali businesses. He served as Vice President of Finance at OxyChem since 1998. He joined OxyChem in 1974 at Niagara Falls, New York and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the finance area with OxyChem and the parent company, Occidental Petroleum Corporation. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. Mr. Lienert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
