Mauricio del Valle — Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at Calpine Corporation

Mr. Mauricio del Valle has been Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at Calpine Corporation since January 2015 and January 2017 respectively. Mr. del Valle oversees Calpine's risk management and credit framework as well as its financial analysis and trading compliance functions and is charged with ensuring that the risks of del Valle are aligned with the risk appetite and parameters defined by the Board of Directors. Mr. del Valle joined Calpine in August 2013 as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previously, he served as Executive Director of Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking, Global Power and Utility Group. Prior to that, he had held positions of increasing responsibility with Deutsche Bank, Vertix and Marsh & McLennan (Guy Carpenter Reinmex). Mr. del Valle holds a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, a Master of Finance from Instituto Tecnol??gico Aut??nomo de M??xico (ITAM), and a Bachelor of Science in Actuary from ITAM.
