Yan Zhuang — Chief Commercial Officer, SVP and President of Modules & Systems Solutions Business at Canadian Solar

Mr. Yan Zhuang has been Chief Commercial Officer of Canadian Solar Inc. since May 2012 and also serves as Senior Vice President. Mr. Zhuang has over 20 years of marketing and general management experience with both entrepreneur and multi-national companies in the areas of consulting, telecom and media business. Mr. Zhuang served as Senior Corporate Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at Canadian Solar Inc. He served as Corporate Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at Canadian Solar Inc. since June 1, 2009. Mr. Zhuang served as Chief Executive Officer of the Chinese Advertisement Company. Mr. Zhuang served as the Chief Executive Officer of K's Media since April 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Marketing for Asia Region of Hands-on Mobile Ltd. since 2005. He served as an Executive of China Green Agriculture, Inc. Mr. Zhuang has worked in corporate branding, sales and marketing positions with, or provided consulting services to, a variety of multinational companies for over 15 years. Before joining Hands-on Mobile, he held various marketing and business operation positions with Motorola Inc., including as its Asia Pacific Regional Director of Marketing Planning and Consumer Insight. He served as Director of Marketing for Asia at Motorola from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, he served as a Marketing Consultant in Canada and China. He served as a Member of the Board of directors of Chinese Advertisement Company and K's Media. He served as an Independent Director of Canadian Solar Inc. from September 25, 2007 to June 1, 2009. Mr. Zhuang holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Northern Jiao-Tong University, China, an MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Alberta, Canada and an MSc in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph, Canada and a PhD degree in Statistics, both from University of Guelph in Canada.
