Executive Bio

Mr. Armando Nunez, Jr. serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of CBS Global Distribution Group at CBS Studios Inc. Mr. Nunez has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of CBS Paramount International Television Division at CBS Corporation since October 2012. In his role, Mr. Nu??ez has oversight of all international distribution, sales and marketing for programming assets from CBS News, Showtime, CBS Paramount Network Television and CBS Television Distribution as well as the largest library of television product. In addition, he is in charge of creating and licensing of international formats such as AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, directs ten offices worldwide, and manages the interests in its international channel assets. Mr. Nunez joined CBS Broadcast International as President in July 1999. He served as the President of CBS Broadcast International since January 2000 and served as Executive Vice President of CBS Enterprises. He held leadership positions in international distribution for the 25 years. He served as the President of Universal International Television. He oversaw all program sales worldwide, as well as the division's expansion in new areas of distribution. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Nu??ez served as the President of New World International Television Distribution, with responsibility for international sales, marketing and co-production. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Nu??ez served as an Executive Vice President of International Sales of Viacom Entertainment. He was active in supplying product for the Viacom's global networks, including MTV, VH1 and Showtime. He has been a Director of National Association of Television Program Executives since November 23, 2015. Mr. Nu??ez served as a Director of NATPE International, as well as the Board of the International Council of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). In addition, he is on the Board of Visitors of the George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. In 1995 Mr. Nu??ez was named one of The Hollywood Reporter's Next Generation, then in 2007 was listed as one of the Latino Power 50. In 2007, Mr. Nu??ez was also named one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine. Mr. Nu??ez graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management.
