Mr. Thom Sherman has been Senior Executive Vice President of Programming for CW Network at CBS Entertainment Services Inc. since May 30, 2017. Mr. Sherman has been Senior Executive Vice President of Programming at CBS Corporation since May 30, 2017. Mr. Sherman served as the Executive Vice President at The CW Network, LLC since July 2014 where he was responsible for the development and oversight of its entire slate of primetime programming. He previously developed and oversaw series at Bad Robot Productions and ABC. He served as President of J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions from 2004 to 2006, where he helped oversee the first two seasons of the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award-winning Lost and the last two seasons of the cult favorite, Alias. From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Sherman worked in Drama Series Development at the ABC Television Network, the last five years of which he was Department Head. While at ABC, he was responsible for the development and/or oversight of highly rated, critically acclaimed, award-winning series such as Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Alias, NYPD Blue, The Practice and Once and Again. Mr. Sherman has done BA in Theatre from UCSD and has received an Associate Degree in General Education from MiraCosta College.
