Executive Bio
Mr. Doug Schmidt has been President of Celadon Trucking Services at Celadon Group, Inc. since April 2017. Mr. Schmidt joined Celadon in May 2017. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer at A&S Kinard, a regional truckload/dedicated carrier, acquired by Celadon in 2014. Mr. Schmidt joined A&S Trucking Service in June 1992 and served many years as Controller, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He participated in several key acquisitions during the growth of A&S and led the startups of the A&S Warehousing Divisions in 2007 and the Intermodal/Agency Divisions in 2012. Mr. Schmidt attended Pennsylvania State University and Towson University majoring in Business Management.
