Mr. Nicholas Lahanas, also known as Niko, serves as the President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Meridian Acquisition Corp. Mr. Lahanas has been the Chief Financial Officer of Central Garden & Pet Company since May 22, 2017. He has worked at Central Garden & Pet for over ten years, holding a variety of Finance positions within the Central Garden & Pet. He served as a Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Central's Pet Segment from April 2014 to May 2017 and served as its Senior Vice President of Operations Management & Reporting and served as Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis from October 2011 to March 2014 and served as Director of Business Performance from March 2008 to October 2011, focusing on business unit profitability. He served as Finance Manager of Gardent segment from October 2006 to March 2008. Prior to joining Central, he worked in Private Equity and Investment Banking for over eight years. He serves as a Director of Spectrum Acquisition Corp. He has been a Director of Crater Mountain Resources, Inc. since April 20, 2007.
